ABOUT US
Prep Styles Inc., is a not-for-profit 501 c(3) organization developed to train and educate young girls ages 8-19 years of age. The volunteer-driven organization was founded by Eric Andrews, a pillar in the Jacksonville sports community for over twenty years. Coach Andrews is dedicated to helping youth survive and thrive in life. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to help those who are underprivileged or just in need of a dedicated mentor. He has and continues to give back to his community in countless ways but is mostly known for his contributions as a youth coach and advocate for social change.
Our Vision
The vision of the Prep Styles, inc. is to keep our young girls out of harm’s way by engaging them in healthy activities and leveraging mentors to help cultivate youth with a positive attitude.
Our Mission
The mission of Prep Styles is aligned with the goals of First Lady Michell Robinson Obama to help our children grow up healthy by reversing the alarming childhood obesity trend. To support and compliment this effort, our aim is to create a new health and fitness magazine to support neighborhood girls who aspire to enter the professional sports or medical profession.
By expanding sports and fitness activities such as basketball, football, cheering, tennis, volleyball, co-ed softball, and track and field, we intend to improve the health condition of youth ages 8 to 17 years. Currently, we have a strong database of professionals in various sports industries. We intend to impacting a network of young girls motivated by competition and exercise through mentoring, literacy and health-conscious activity. We believe new youth who become member of the Prep Styles Leadership Council will embrace healthy alternatives over video games and the everyday “street life” most of our youth fall victim. We strive to assist them in the development of character, attitude and proper guidance from related role models and mentor in and outside of the sports arena.
